Elks PGSA Minor League champs

Solid pitching, a tight defense and timely hitting propelled the Elks to the 2006 PGSA Minor League title.

Pitcher Ashley Theide pitched two outstanding games and quieted the vaunted offenses of both JRL Machine and C. Hardy Construction.

The defense was led by shortstop TJ Watts with strong support from third baseman Tayler Chesnut, first baseman Tori Baldassari, second baseman Katie Decoite, second baseman Shannon Carroll and outfielder Monique Grimaldi.

Offensively, the Elks were sparked by catcher Allie Corids and third baseman Desiree Adams with help from outfielder Michelle Garrone, outfielder Haley Romstad, outfielder Shelby Odetto and outfielder Hannah Likens. Like all good teams, everyone on the Elks roster contributed to the victories.
