Here are some of the cases Petaluma police responded to last week. Information on some cases was not available by press time and is indicated by the acronym INA (information not available). The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes, such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property -- and including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are later found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

FRIDAY, JUNE 16

9:41 a.m. -- Carla Ricca, 46, of 749 Bantam Way was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. INA.

1:38 p.m. -- Brian Soward, 34, of 160 Edith St. was arrested for petty theft on Petaluma Boulevard North at Western Avenue. INA.

6:54 p.m. -- A petty theft was reported at Kohl's at 1363 N. McDowell Blvd. INA.

6:57 p.m. -- Marina Reyes, 24, of 731 Greenbriar Circle was arrested for shoplifting at Mervyn's, 389 S. McDowell Blvd. INA.

SATURDAY, JUNE 17

11:58 a.m. -- An incident of fraud occurred on Petaluma Boulevard North. INA.

6:24 p.m. -- Property at 1534 Quail Drive was vandalized. INA.

9:36 p.m. -- Joshua Hathaway, 28, of 1368 N. McDowell Blvd. was arrested for battery in American Alley.

SUNDAY, JUNE 18

4:57 a.m. -- Daniel Reed, 20, of Santa Rosa was arrested at 2199 Augustine Circle for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

9:31 a.m. -- Petty theft was reported on Hopper Street. INA.

10:26 a.m. -- An incident of fraud occurred on North Webster Street. INA.

12:10 p.m. -- A 53-year-old transient was arrested at 5135 Montero Way for possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia. INA.

2:05 p.m. -- A 30-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence battery.

4:59 p.m. -- Clinton Gandy, 27, of 3536 Skillman Lane was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. INA.

7:41 p.m. -- Robert Brokloff, 48, was arrested at 22 Payran St. for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A 16-year-old male was cited for possession of alcohol. INA.

MONDAY, JUNE 19

12:17 a.m. -- An incident of prowling was reported on Sixth Street. INA.

12:24 a.m. -- Robbery was reported at 346 Lakeville Circle. Value of items stolen was $900.

6:23 a.m. -- Property on Grant Avenue was vandalized. INA.

8:25 a.m. -- Vandalism was reported on Photinia Place. INA.

12:35 p.m. -- An incident of petty theft on North McDowell Boulevard was reported.

1:46 p.m. -- June Miller, 26, of Petaluma was arrested at Littlewoods for felony possession of stolen property. INA.

2:12 p.m. -- Linda Molina, 33, of Rohnert Park was arrested for grand theft on Sonoma Mountain Parkway. INA.

3:50 p.m. -- Mark Brown, 46, of Santa Rosa was arrested on 998 E. Washington St. for possession of stolen property. INA.

5.29 p.m. -- An incident of petty theft occurred at 205 N. McDowell Blvd. Value of item stolen was $19.

10:03 p.m. -- An assault with deadly weapon was reported on Cypress Drive. INA.

10:15 p.m. -- The remainder of the field house at Casa Grande High School, 333 Casa Grande Road, was burned down.

TUESDAY, JUNE 20

1:05 a.m. -- A case of purse snatching was reported at 621 Ely Blvd. South. INA.

5:19 a.m. -- Amber Scarioni, 22, of 1645 Weaverly Drive was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. INA.

9:03 a.m. -- A jewelry store at 401 Washington St. was robbed.

2:47 p.m. -- Property on Auto Center Drive was vandalized. INA.

7:17 p.m. -- Vandalism was reported at 430 Washington St. INA.

8:11 p.m. -- Steven White, 40, of 1709 Madeira Circle was arrested at 361 E. Washington St. for drunken driving.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 21

7:41 a.m. -- A vehicle was stolen on Hogwarts Circle. INA.

9:14 a.m. -- Grant Elementary School at 200 Grant Ave. was vandalized. Estimated damage was more than $400.

10:56 a.m. -- Child abuse was reported. INA.

11 a.m. -- Burglary was reported at 1120 Auto Center Drive. INA.

2:11 p.m. -- Vandalism was reported at 1513 Baywood Drive. Damage was estimated at more than $400. INA.

4:09 p.m. -- Fraud was reported on Fourth Street. INA.

5:22 p.m. -- A thief stole $20 worth of items from a vehicle parked in the A Street parking lot. INA.

5:39 p.m. -- Estefana Canseco, 34, of 722 Greenbriar Circle was arrested for felony domestic violence assault with injury.

7:36 p.m. -- Lawrence Wolfenden, 44, of 5135 Montero Way was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance at 5330 Old Redwood Highway. INA.

11:50 p.m. -- Property on Wilson Street was vandalized. INA.

THURSDAY, JUNE 22

6:26 a.m. -- A thief stole $1,500 worth of items from a vehicle parked at 1749 Northstar Drive. INA.

6:58 a.m. -- Graffiti was reported at 1299 McKenzie Ave. INA.

9:14 a.m. -- A 19-year-old Petaluma man was arrested at 210 Keller Street for possession of a controlled substance. INA.

9:40 a.m. -- Two 15- and 16-year-old boys were cited for possession of 28.5 grams or less of marijuana at 262 Douglas St.

2:59 p.m. -- Someone stole $425 worth of auto parts from 389 S. McDowell Blvd.

7:59 p.m. -- Vandalism was reported in American Alley. INA.
