CALLS FOR ENTRIES

Art & Garden Festival -- July 9: Local artists, farmers and garden enthusiasts are invited to participate in the Fifth annual Petaluma Art & Garden Festival. Call the Petaluma Downtown Association at 762-9348.

Cooking instructor -- Petaluma Parks and Recreation is seeking an instructor for its junior chefs class for children ages 8-12 and ages 4-7. Classes begin in January 2007. To apply, drop by the Petaluma Community Center, 320 N. McDowell Blvd. 778-4380.

Total Body Fitness -- Tuesdays and Thursdays: The city of Petaluma sponsors a program for all fitness levels, 5:30-6:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Petaluma Community Center, 320 N. McDowell Blvd. The classes incorporate an aerobic step in a variety of techniques. Equipment used included free weights, resistance bands, kick boxing and Pilates.
