Tomales High School's Drama Department presents "Bellmont Suites," a compilation of scenes from Neil Simon's comedic "Suite" plays such as "California Suite," "Plaza Suite" and "London Suite." Thursday and Friday nights at 7:30 p.m. in the Elevenay Theater at Tomales High School.

The Tomales Players have selected an "enjoyable series of scenes all taking place in the same hotel suite to keep you laughing." Cast members are Trevor Cushman, Elena Irving, Catherine James, Petra Lamberson, Isabella Oppen, Stirling Weir and Steven Whitlock under the guidance of director and drama coach Ellen Webster. Point Reyes Station's Dance Palace hosts "An Evening of Flamenco," with international artists from France, the Middle East, and Latin America. Partcipants will celebrate Cante Jondo (deep song) with Gypsy singer Cristo Cortes, Flamenco dancer Carola Zertuche, guitarist Ricardo Diaz, cellist Jessie Wolf and percussionist Rami Ziadeh at 8 p.m. Friday. Admission is $12 general, $10 seniors, $5 youth.

On Saturday, kick up your heels at the coronation dance honoring Western Weekend Queen and Tomales High School junior Angelica Martinez and her court with music by Doug Adamz and Bravo, one of Northern California's country bands. West Marin Lions Club and the Dance Palace are co-sponsors of this addition to Western Weekend's family fun. Refreshments will be available.

Matt and Loretta Murphy offer Country Western dance lessons prior to the dance, at 7 p.m., while the coronation ball is scheduled from 8 to 10:30 p.m. Admission is $15 general, $10 for 16 and under. From Mike Marweg's class: Brett Bell, Ashley Browne, Jazmine Collazo, Julian Cuevas, Michael Delia, Richie Douglas, Laurin Edwards, Ian Fitton, Michael Freeman, Martin Garcia, Jairo Gomez, Emma Irving, Jessica Martin, Ethan Pawson, Branden Schumacher, Brian Silva, Randy Titus, Oli Towne, Willem Winkelman and Johana Yanez. Their commencement takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 8 in the TES gymnasium.

Make reservations soon for the Marin Winegrowers Association's Pinot Noir Winetasting. The event showcases Marin County Pinot Noir producers as they launch their newest vintages in an effort to preserve agricultural land in Marin County.

The limited production selections include some "marquee" names and some of California's most promising new faces, including Sean Thackrey, Pey-Marin Vineyards, Dutton-Goldfield, Stubbs Vineyard, Vision Cellars, Point Reyes Vineyards and Corda Winery.

A wide selection of Marin cheeses and other locally produced foods are also offered. This event sold out quickly last year so visit www.malt.org for information and on-line pre-registration for this event. Proceeds benefit Marin Agricultural Land Trust.

It happens from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 9 and 10 at the Escalle Winery, 771 Magnolia Ave. in Larkspur. The cost is $30 for MALT members; $40 non-members.
